Paradise: Faith (Paradies: Glaube, 2012)

The second part of Ulrich Seidl's trilogy 'Paradise' (read here about the first one) for me was the most dramatic, but at same time - the most boring part.
'Paradise: Faith' (available in iTunes | Amazon) is about a woman, named Anna, in mid of her 40 (I guess), and she's a fanatical believer..

This part of 'Paradise' is the most dramatic, because it's about finding and loosing faith. It's about woman's wondering, challenges and patients trying.

I really like Ulrich Seidl because of two important reasons: 1. Seidl gives you an opportunity to have your own conclusions. I think that it's not so easy to meet this choice in cinematography. 2. The second point is very connected with the first one. There's no soundtrack is Seidls 'Paradise', you can here music inside the film, but it's not a traditional background, which makes atmosphere. So the very important factor, which gives you default feelings is missing.

The only one minus a see in 'Paradise: Faith' is a few too long scenes. For f film with good dynamic the length of a scene ~10 minutes it's ok. But for 'Paradise..' this is too much.

It's a good film. It's hard to recommend it, but it's a good film, which gives you some thoughts.
6.9/10
