Please meet Ron Woodroof, a cowboy, barfly, roisterer and total homophobic bastard. And one day Ronny founds out, that he's HIV positive and has only 30 days left to live. Outside we have 80's, so actually it's not hard to guess how many myths exist around HIV positive people, or around people, who have AIDS.
For Ron Woodroof's life takes a u-turn...

After different cure method trials, one day Ron founds out about cheap and effective, but illegal in the US medicine. A little bulb lights in his head. Now he, with help of charming transvestite Rayon, has a chance to help others and of course - survive and get some money. This is how the 'Dallas buyers club' was born...

'Dallas Buyers Club' is about one man changing. No, no... If you think that after horrible diagnosis announcement Ron found god and started to sing in a choir and opened his charity fund - I have a bad news for you. But the diagnosis made his old system fail, and after meeting Rayon, he found something big deep down inside - an ability to feel something.

Few words about Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto duet. For me (as for many of you) before 'Dallas Buyers Club' and 'True Detective' (about which I don't want to write, but I guess I have something to say about it), before these two - Matthew McConaughey was a typical Hollywood boy with muscles, average actor, nothing special etc. But what I saw in 'DBC' or 'True Detective' (and even in 'The Wolf of Wall Street') was a mature, talented and professional actor, who sacrificed his body for the role. McConaughey destroyed all prejudices around him. And I'm giving my applause for this.

As for Jared Leto...This man already proofs his acting talent, but it 'Dallas Buyers Club' Leto was outstanding, gorgeous, spectacular and simply great. I can watch him playing Rayon for hours. Jared is a stunning actor, talented musician and forever young man. Wow.
