Films From The Past: 'The Breakfast Club' (1985) and 'Heathers' (1988)

Actually, there are tons of great films from our childhood or teenage, that we have to watch in our adulthood. Somehow I got familiar with these two beautiful pieces while being in my 20's, and to be true - these two films are better to watch while you're not a kid anymore. Why? Mostly because of humor and some small things, that you can spot only after some experience.
So:) Make some popcorn and find yourself comfortable, because we're going to watch two awesome films - 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Heathers'. For some of you, these two movies time will work like a time machine, taking you back to your childhood/teenage.
And now few words about the films (and tons of pictures!).

Five students 'got locked' in the school library on Saturday, for a different reason. Those five have nothing in common, they're amazingly different, there's a sport-guy, bully, weirdo, nerd and a princess.
But somehow these five fellows will have to get to know each other, share thoughts and fears and find out, that they have more in common than they thought...

'The Breakfast Club' is full of great humor, protest mood and teen spirit. Nowadays, the films about schools and teenagers are totally different, that in 80's-90's, I guess they're too boring and definitely not that good written as 'The Breakfast Club'. Especially, many jokes from 'The Breakfast Club' could be banned on a modern TV.

Oh, and characters! They're full of charisma:)

Unfortunately, this is exactly the case, when I don't want to cook anything I've seen in the film:)

Of course you don't know these kids yet, but believe me, you may want to be a part of 'The Breakfast Club' just after watching!

'Heathers' (1988)

Veronica Sawyer hanging out with 'The Heathers' - elite girl group in school. They're envy and phony and hate everyone (and each other too, of course). One day Veronica meets a new guy in school: dark hair, cold eyes, curve smile, a motorcycle and a mysterious past. J.D. got a lot of secrets and a dark soul.
Veronica, who's totally fed up from the main Heather manipulations, gets closer with J.D. and fells in love with him. But Veronica has no idea, how dark is J.D.'s soul and what he can actually do...

My description of the film is extremely poor for one simple reason: 'Heathers' is a unique film. It's like trying to describe the main theme of 'Beetlejuice' for example. You have to watch it and understand how good, extraordinary and strange it is.

Beautiful Winona Ryder going wild in this film. She's a pretty bad-ass, queen of chaos and destruction.

A lot of black humor in this film. Even more, than you expect.

Interesting picture and scenario, tons of quotes that you'll totally love.

Be careful with a fire, guys:)
