Julie & Julia. Part II: Chicken with mushrooms, sour cream and red wine

'Julie & Julia'  (iTunes|Amazon)is the endless source of inspiration. I had a choice between lots of dishes: from soups, different desserts to 1001 recipe of meat. But with a cold my I chose fresh (for me), easy, with a specific flavor and a rich taste dish - chicken with mushrooms, sour cream and red wine.
Photos today are not so cool (self-compliment detected!;) as always, because they were made in a very-very late time. But still, I want to share this beautiful recipe with you.
So, let's start!

We need:

2 chicken fillet
100 g mushrooms
juice of 1/2 lemon
pepper, salt

For sauce:
3-4 tbsp sour cream
a glass of red wine
herbs

Preparation time:
1 hour

Put the chicken into a pan. Squeeze half a lemon juice on it, add some pepper and salt. I really like to use a lot of lemon juice, when I cook fish or meat. Of course it depends on your taste:)
Leave the pan with a chicken for a while and prepare mushrooms.

Take mushrooms, slice them and fry in the saucepan for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms with a small potions and stir them all the time. This will help to control the level of frying, they don't have to be super brown, just a bit cooked.

Turn the gas off. Put meat on a mushrooms and put it into oven for 30 minutes. After this - take your chicken (mushrooms staying!), put it somewhere else and start preparing sauce. A good advice will be to cover meat with some foil to keep it warm.

And now..My favorite part! We're making sauce with wine and sour cream.
A little frame from the film:)

Add few table spoons to the mushrooms. Add wine. Spin it good. Add some herbs. Keep spinning!  Leave it on a tiny heat for 10-15 minutes. n this time our sauce has to be thick enough.

Finn and a bottle of wine. I think my cat has to say me something;) I think he was drinking while I was cooking sauce. Feels good, little fellow?:)

Back to the dish. Put the chicken into a saucepan with sauce. Pour chicken with a sause a bit, and cook it for more 5-7 minutes.

Done!
It's a simple, delisious dish. And if you're totally bored of ordinary chiken taste - this recipe is just for you!

Cheers!:)
