Stand with Ukraine!

My dear friends,

it's been a while since I've posted anything on Films & Pies, and today my post is going to be different.

On the 24th of February, my home, Ukraine, was attacked by Russia. The monstrosity, the damage, the crime that Russian military forces are doing to our land, our children, our cities, our lives is unspeakable and horrifying. They are bombing civilian sectors in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv, and other cities, towns, and villages. Russian are destroying kindergartens, orphanages, and hospitals. They also use forbidden weapons. Thousands of people are heavily injured, many people, including children and the elderly, are dead. Thousands of Ukrainians are on the flee, thousands of us are sitting in basements completely horrified. Women are giving birth in bomb shelters, children's hospitals are also existing underground.

The infrastructure is damaged, thousands of animals are dead. The wildlife is suffering. We will also have to face the horrible ecological catastrophe soon.

We are brave! Our army is strong, our people are fearless. The citizens of Ukraine are united, courageous and we are resisting our enemies, who came to our peaceful home and want to wipe it from the face of Earth. I'm proud of my people that are standing up heroically, motivated, fighting for peace, freedom, and our lives.

But we need your support! We need to unite for democracy, justice, and the core values of humanity. We need to stay strong together, fight side by side for future generations, for peace, for Ukraine.
